Introducing the PPC 480 Match, and Family Day Open House

It’s been a busy winter so far - lots of new members, and lots of crazy Canadian weather! We plan on staying busy, with new upcoming events and a full roster of training sessions for the year.

To kick off 2020, we’re introducing a new “lightweight” competitive shooting event, the PPC 480 Match, with 3 matches scheduled for February 23, March 22 and April 19. The PPC 480 Match is geared more towards newer shooters - we only use the larger B-27 target, and the match only requires one box of ammo (48 rounds total). We are also waiving guest fees for these events - guests are only required to pay the same $10 match fee for the first round (plus $5 for each additional round after the first) as club members, and do not need to pay the usual $25 guest fee that would otherwise apply.

We’re also offering prizes for PPC 480 matches. Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the April event.  Competitors will have their name put in a draw for prizes, one ballot for each match shot during the 3 month period, the more you shoot the better your odds of winning are.

Monday, February 17th is Family Day, and we will be celebrating it by hosting a Family Day Open House from 9am - noon. We will be conducting range tours and offering free introductory range packages with .22LR rifle and pistol to introduce new shooters to the sport. Bring the family and celebrate with us!
